2017 Recipients:

  • Austin School for the Performing & Visual Arts– $1,774 to provide need-based scholarships to local children to attend World Drumming camp
  • Center for Child Protection– $1,745 to support the Emergency Funds program with assistance to alleged victims of child abuse meet their basic needs
  • Crafting Comfort– $606 to purchase supplies needed to produce quality items to support women & children who have been victims of violence or critical illness.
  • Dream a Dream Therapeutic Horsemanship– $2,056 to provide for weekly therapy sessions for a local student.
  • Helping Hand Crisis Ministry of Spicewood– $4,358 to purchase food/basic necessities to help local residents in crisis.
  • Lake Travis Crisis Ministry– $4,436 to purchase food/basic necessities to help local residents in crisis.
  • LTHS Project Graduation– $1,965 to provide need-based scholarships for students to attend an alcohol/drug-free event following graduation.
  • Partners in Hope– $3,794 to provide materials for home repair to local residents living in unsafe/unhealthy environments.
  • Peaceful Dreams– $668 to purchase new, children’s pajamas for children removed from their homes & placed in local children’s shelters.
  • RED Arena– $2,082 to scholarship local children with disabilities to attend summer horse therapy camp.
  • Youth to Seniors– $1,970 to support the “giving program” where youth & seniors come together to make teddy bears to donate to children in need.

2015 Recipients

  • School Supplies Program: Distributed 300 grade and campus specific school supplies to Lake Travis students
  • Green Santa program: Distributed over 2500 gifts, 650 books and $13,750 dollars in HEB food cards to 620 children from 2013 Lake Travis families

2014 Recipients:

  • Green Santa: Donated over 1500 gifts and $12,800 dollars in HEB food cards
  • Back to School Supply Drive: Donated school supplies to meet the needs of every low income LTISD student plus $2,700 in wish list purchases at LTES and LTHS.
  • Summer Lovin: Donated 64 pairs of children’s pj’s to Peaceful Dreams, a 2 month supply of personal care items & 7 box fans for the Lake Travis Crisis Ministry, personal care items to serve 50 clients + box fans for Helping Hand Crisis Ministry of Spicewood and a cash donation of $425 to each organization.

2013 Recipients:

  • “Santa’s Sack” Green Santa gift drive: Donated 380 gifts and $2,445.00 in cash/gift cards
  • 4th Annual PackaBackpack School Supplies Drive: Donated supplies to meet the needs of low income LTISD students, including 42 personal headsets for LTE, 40 flash drives for HBMS and 15 graphing calculators for LTHS
  • CancerCanKissOff Summer Event: Raised $20,064 to help Torrence fight brain cancer

2012 Recipients:

  • Green Santa 2012“: Donated over 700 gifts and $2,365.00 in cash and gift cards
  • Happy Birthday LTlov“: Donated 40 pkgs diapers & 44 pkgs baby wipes to LTHS Infant Care Center, 204 children’s pajamas to Peaceful Dreams, 54 teddy bears to the Lakeway Police, and personal care items to serve 200+ families at the Lake Travis and Spicewood Helping Hand crisis ministries.
  • PackaBackpack” School Supplies Drive: Donated supplies needed to equip low-income LTISD students; including 40 personal headphones & 25 tri-fold boards for LTE, 40 flash drives for HBMS and 5 graphing calculators for LTHS
  • 2012 Summer Lunch Program: Prepared & delivered 100 lunches on Thursdays throughout the summer break with Emmaus church.
