Since 2007, LT Lov has been helping families in the Lake Travis community overcome limiting circumstances through donations and the programs below.

Academic Scholarships

LT Lov provides qualified LTISD graduating seniors with scholarships to pursue their higher education goals. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic success and financial need.

Two applications are available this year. The first is the traditional scholarship application for rising LTHS Seniors who plan on attending any accredited institution.

The second is the Continued Education Scholarship, which is available for any Lake Travis resident post highschool who wants to continue their education at an accredited institution.

Accredited institutions can include universities, colleges, vocation training, trade/technical schools.

School Supplies Program

As not all of our LTISD students are able to purchase their own school supplies for the school year, LT Lov has a fund for purchasing the district approved prepackaged school supplies for elementary, middle, and high school children.

Green Santa

Starting in October, LT Lov accepts toy donations accross the Lake Travis area to deliver to families in need during the holiday season. Monetary donations are also accepted year round to support this program.

Families in need can apply for the program and identify christmas presents appropriate for their children.

Volunteers collect, sort, and pack boxes for our families to pick up at the beginning of December.

Community Lov

A portion of the general donations as well as directed donations received by LT Lov are used to fund one off endeavors benefiting LTISD students and families.

When funding is available, members of LT Lov vote on projects to support in the community.

Past projects include purchasing Thanksgiving turkeys for families and supporting school lounges for students.
