  • We Need Your Help

Lake Travis Crisis Ministries – the local area food bank for the Lake Travis area, are in great need of cash donations. They are seeing a big increase in numbers of people looking for help with rent, bills and of course, food.
At this time they would prefer to have cash donations, they can purchase bulk food from the Capitol Area Food Bank at great value and can also help with the immediate needs of those in our community who have been severely impacted by the current crisis.
Please consider a donation to LTCM to help our neighbors. 100% of all monies collected will go directly to LTCM – which is a 100% volunteer-based organization. Thank you.

  • Amplify Austin 2020

2019 was a busy and meaningful year for LTlov. We celebrated 13 years of operation in October and passed the $1,200,000 mark in services provided to struggling residents in our community. LTlov continues to experience the power of ordinary people coming together to do extraordinary things for those struggling in our midst. We were honored to be the “go to” organization serving the Lake Travis community which resulted in an on-going support relationship with CavLounge at Lake Travis High School and the new BucLounge at Hudson Bend Middle School for at risk students.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors! New Program –  12:31

We are very excited to announce that LTlov has added a new program to our LTlov organization. This program is called 12:31, and was created by Mike Dahlhauser, a member of our Lake Travis Community. Many of you may follow 12:31 on Facebook. 12:31 comes from the bible verse, Mark 12:31 which states “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Mike says the mission of 12:31 has been “to serve our community, in whatever capacity is needed, with the kind of relentless compassion for others that inspires a generation to do the same.” We believe that in many ways, the mission of LTlov and the mission of 12:31 are very similar.

Mike has been looking to join a group such as LTlov. 12:31 has a lot of volunteers and a lot of caring donors. They have done some amazing work in helping those in need in our community. When Mike puts the word out of a need, people step up to help. It’s been exciting to watch!

Our board has done a lot of due diligence on adding a program like this to LTlov. The board voted and came back with a unanimous decision that we wanted to add 12:31 as a new program to LTlov.

Mike will chair the 12:31 program, just as Stacy Mikrut and Alison Blake have co-chaired our School Supplies Program and Sheryl Kelly has chaired our Green Santa Program. We have put banking systems in place to keep donations to 12:31 separate from our other programs and general donations.

You will be hearing more about 12:31 in the months ahead. Learn more about the 12:31 Program and how to dontate here and please “Follow” 12:31 on Facebook

Amplify Austin 2021 is a Wrap!

LTlov is pleased to announce that together we raised $5,825 during this year’s 24-Hr online event called Amplify Austin.

Your generosity, as always, means so much to us… but also, to those we work to uplift in our community. Thank you SO much!
