The members of LTlov would like to thank Lake Travis for an early and very Green Christmas! More than 700 local children, whose families needed our love this Christmas, will benefit from the extreme generosity of our community. Thanks to members, friends, neighbors and local businesses, LTlov is thrilled to report a donation of over 700 gifts and $2,365.00 in cash and gift cards to Lake Travis Green Santa this year! Special recognition goes to the LTHS Lady Cavs basketball teams and Sandy Cary of Sotheby’s for individual donations of 100 gifts, as well as Haythem Dawlett for his generous, surprise donation of board games. LTlov would also like to acknowledge our business partners who opened their doors and their hearts as collection sites for us: Strandz Salon, American Bank, Don Rucker Tile & Wheel, Bee Cave Family Chiropractic, Corrective Chiropractic and Jay-Reese Contractors. Their participation allowed everyone the opportunity to spread the love of Christmas to our neighbors in need. Lake Travis Green Santa is a community sponsored project hosted by Emmaus Catholic Parish, serving families who meet the criteria for the free and reduced federal lunch program.
